Performed by members of the Blue Room Young Company, this family performance is not to be missed.

The Chicago Blues Reunion is an all-star collaboration of Chicago music legends. The band members - Barry Goldberg, Nick Gravenites, Harvey Mandel, Gary Mallabar, Rick Reed - all honed their chops in the 60s on Chicago's south side, and have each earned reputations as leading blues musicians of our time. Joined by singer and blues harp maestro Charlie Musselwhite, they will turn Laxson into a true "House of Blues."

An Evening with Deepak Chopra

In this multi media presentation, Dr. Chopra will discuss his belief that health is a state of balance of body, mind, and spirit, and that it takes a total shift in perception to realize that you are not in the world, rather the world is in you.

Enloe Medical Center is hosting a Meet & Greet Reception from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on September 12 in Trinity Hall at CSU, Chico. A limited number of tickets are available at $150 each, which includes a ticket to the reception and a premium seat for the evening lecture. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Chopra while enjoying an elegant buffet. Funds raised will support patient centered activities at Enloe.

Wynton Marsalis The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra's 15 jazz soloists, along with trumpeter and musical director Wynton Marsalis, draw from a repertoire that includes original compositions and masterworks by Ellington, Mingus, Coltrane, and others. An extraordinarily versatile orchestra, the JLCO has been called "the greatest large jazz ensemble working today" by the Chicago Tribune. Marsalis, a driving force behind the Orchestra, is a nine-time Grammy Award winner.
